Houston Community Garden

Have you always wanted to garden, but didn't know where to start?  Are you afraid of all the work involved in digging and tilling and weeding?  Do you just not have enough room for a garden?  Never fear! Square Foot Gardening is here!  In this fun and informative class, Audrey Alfson from the Houston Community Garden will share how easy and fun gardening can be.  Audrey will share the successes in the community garden and amze you with how much good you can grow in a small space.  Weather permitting, we will take a walk to the garden to view square foot boxes in action!

Free and open to the public, but a donation to the Houston Nature Center is greatly appreciated.
